Your first day: a checklist

The handful of things to do before your first sale, in the right order.

Work down this list once. Each step links to a short guide.

  1. Sign in and set up your phone code. It takes about 2 minutes.
  2. Add your details in Settings: your business name, support email and returns promise. These write your legal pages for you.
  3. Connect PayPal in Payments. Until you do, shoppers can't pay.
  4. Check your countries in Markets & delivery. Each country has its own prices and delivery options.
  5. Add your first product in Products, with a price for each country.
  6. Make the website yours in Website › Brand: logo, colours and fonts.
  7. Connect your web address in Domains (optional: your free address works from day one).
  8. Place a test order to see what your customers see.
